Terms of Use
Last updated
These terms apply when you use DMZMap at https://dmzmap.com. They are short because the site is simple: a free map, tools and guides, no accounts and nothing for sale. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.
An unofficial fan site
DMZMap is made by fans of the game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Activision or Infinity Ward. Call of Duty and Modern Warfare are trademarks of Activision Publishing, Inc. We use these names only to say which game the site is about.
Game screenshots and the Hajin map are Activision's and are credited where they appear; the About page explains how we use them. If Activision asks us to take a picture down, we do so at once. For help with the game itself, your account or your purchase, please use the official channels on the Call of Duty website.
Using the map, tools and guides
Everything here is free to use while you play, and there is nothing to sign up for. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote a few sentences with a link back to the page they come from. Please do not copy whole guides, tables, map markers or tools to another website or app, or present them as your own work.
Your ticks on the map, in the key finder, the mission checklist, the camo tracker and the Prestige checklist are saved only in your own browser, so clearing this site's data removes them. The Privacy Policy explains this.
How far you can rely on the information
Facts come from Activision's official posts first. Since Early Access began we also add what players find in the game, but only after we have checked it in game footage against a second source; anything that has only one source is marked “not yet verified”. Modern Warfare 4 keeps receiving updates and new seasons, so a location, key or mission described here can change or turn out to be wrong. That is why each tool and guide shows when it was last updated and lists its sources at the bottom.
Check anything important in the game yourself before you rely on it. The site is provided as it is, without any promise that it is complete, correct or always available. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses in your games, or anywhere else, that come from using it.
Ads and links to other sites
Some pages load Google AdSense to show ads, which pays for the site. Google chooses the ads, not us, and an ad is not a recommendation. Links to other websites, such as the official Call of Duty blog and the gameplay videos behind player-reported facts, are there so you can check our sources. We do not control those sites. How ads and visit counting use cookies is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Corrections
If something here does not match the game, please tell us through the Contact page. When you send a correction or an idea, we may use it to improve the site. We never publish your email address.
Changes to these terms
We may change the site and these terms. When the terms change, we update the date at the top of this page, and the version shown here is the one that applies. Questions about these terms: email hi@dmzmap.com.
