How many players can be in a Modern Warfare 4 DMZ squad, whether you can play solo and how many players share a match: what is confirmed so far, and what is not.

Can you play MW4 DMZ solo?	Yes. Activision says you can deploy solo or with a squad, and its Stealth Meter was made to help solo players in particular.

Playing DMZ solo

In the June 2026 deep dive, Activision describes a Stealth Meter that helps solo players in particular: when an AI enemy is close to spotting you, you hear an audio cue and a HUD indicator turns from white to yellow to orange. Your squad and the others in Hajin

Other squads and solo players deploy into the same Hajin, and each of them decides whether to fight.
Rival players are not counted in the Threat Level, so a quiet area can still hold an ambush.
Killing players builds a Bounty, and enough kills make you Wanted.
The Ping Wheel can request a Truce with another squad, or join up with it.
