Chang-san Air Base Armory in MW4 DMZ: How to Get In

The Chang-san Air Base armory is underground, in the Air Base Bunker (Extreme threat). Its door needs the Airbase Armory Keycard - Single Use, which you get during the Operation Iron Citadel Story Mission and can use once. The bunker has more locked rooms, each with its own key.

Where the Chang-san Air Base armory is

Chang-san Air Base, in Western Hajin, is a heavily guarded North Korean air base built into a granite hillside, with an underground bunker complex that is larger than the base on the surface. The armory is not in the buildings on the surface: it is down in the Air Base Bunker, whose large doors are set into the hillside on the south side of the base.

  • Air Base Exterior: Critical
  • Air Base Bunker: Extreme
  • The key card's description names grid B5 on the Tac-Map.

See the base on the interactive Hajin map, or read the Chang-san Air Base location guide for the rest of the base and how players get in.

How to open the armory

The card that opens it is the Airbase Armory Keycard - Single Use (Legendary). It opens the armory in the Chang-san Air Base Bunker, whose door reads "Requires Air Base Armory Access Card". The card says it works once.

In the Operation Iron Citadel Story Mission: upgrading the access card at Admin Complex No. 2 gives you this card, and the mission then sends you into the armory.

The Operation Iron Citadel steps:

  1. Find the access card in one of the buildings the mission marks
  2. Upgrade the access card at a terminal
  3. Get into the armory and clear it
  4. Plant explosives on the 3 strike aircraft
  5. Exfil to finish the mission

Rewards: Supreme Leader's Bunker Access Card, LTV (Paid Infil), 25,000 DMZ Cash. The full mission, with where it starts, is on our Operation Iron Citadel page. Finishing it also ticks off one of the DMZ Orders, in the Hornet's Nest chapter of our DMZ Orders checklist.
