Cheongun Outskirts Access Code in MW4 DMZ

How to get the Cheongun Outskirts code

1. Take on the Viral Reckoning Dynamic Op. Dynamic Ops are made up fresh for each match, so it is not on the map every time.
2. Open your objectives. One step reads Use Code #### to Unlock Keypad, with your four digits in place of the #.
3. Go to the keypad door and type in those four digits.

That is the whole trick: the code is on your own screen. Codes posted in videos and comments were right for that player's match only.

Why every Cheongun Outskirts keypad code online is different

The game picks a new code for every match, so two players searching for the same door find different numbers. The same Dynamic Op can also put the door somewhere else on the map. None of the codes below will work in your game; they show how much the code changes.

Codes from other matches

• The scientist's keypad door has been at Cheongun Outskirts: an industrial metal door with a keypad and a fingerprint panel beside it, and the prompt [F] ENTER ACCESS CODE.
• Codes this door has had: 8531 and 2419 at Cheongun Outskirts, and 8349 when the same op put the door at DBN Headquarters. Each worked for that match only.

Where Cheongun Outskirts is

Cheongun Outskirts is the west end of Cheongun Village, the village in Northern Hajin on the former South Korean side. Activision's tour of Hajin describes the area: Cheongun Outskirts to the west has fewer buildings, thicker woods and the South Korean border post by the river.

The Viral Reckoning Dynamic Op

It sends you after a scientist behind a keypad door. The code is in the objective ("Use Code #### to Unlock Keypad") and changes every match: one match gave 8531 for a door at Cheongun Outskirts and another gave 8349 at DBN Headquarters, so there is no fixed Cheongun Outskirts access code to look up. Read yours off the screen.

Other keypad codes in DMZ

Broken Resupply: Its keypad code is in the objective itself ("Use Code #### to Unlock Keypad") and is not the same for everyone: codes have included 2645 at Pyonghwa Village, 7819 at Cheongun Village and 1957 at NuriGO West, so read yours off the screen. Other objectives it has given include hacking the comms server, destroying the truck carrying WMDs and looting the marked item from a vehicle's trunk.

Keys in Cheongun Village

Unlike the keypad door, these locked rooms need a key you carry in:

• Counting Room Vault: The vault of the counting room on the main floor of the Heavenly Luck Casino.
• Gun Store Weapons Locker Key: The weapons lockers in the Gun Stores in western Cheongun Village and northern Songdo Wharf.
• Vault Armory: The small armory in the underground parking of the Heavenly Luck Casino.
• Rail Depot Storage: The storage room in the basement of the railway station near the Fire Station.
• Police Station Armory: The armory of a police station. The key card says it opens any of them and names four: Western Cheongun Village, Northern NuriGO Mall, Revolution Dam and Southern Pyonghwa Village. Activision lists a Police Station Key as a level 19 unlock; whether that is this key is not confirmed.
• Mechanic's Shack: The mechanic's shack south of the clinic in Cheongun Village.
• Jin-Tae's Private Lounge: Lieutenant Jin-Tae's lounge in the penthouse of the Heavenly Luck Casino.
• Fire Station Storage: The storage room of a fire station. Players have found a Fire Station Storage door at the fire stations in Imjin Farmland and Cheongun Village.
