MW4 DMZ Dynamic Ops: Every Op, Steps and Phones
Players have run 12 Dynamic Ops in MW4 DMZ so far. Start one by picking Dynamic Operations at Deploy, or with a Dynamic Op phone in Hajin: each phone shows on your Tac-Map as a Dynamic Op marker, in a new place every match. Every op's steps, the keypad ones and the Side Ops are below.
Last updated Game version: Launch (October 23, 2026)
Where to find a Dynamic Op phone
- A Dynamic Op phone is a radio handset on a desk or table that rings.
- Each phone shows on the Tac-Map as a Dynamic Op marker; the phones are in new places every match, so there is no fixed spot to learn.
- Go to the marker, listen for the ring and activate the phone: that starts the op, and the op panel then shows its first step.
Two DMZ Orders ask for a phone: Payment Due (page 3) takes any phone, while Operation Rewards (page 4) wants one in Cheongun Village. Both are in our DMZ Orders checklist.
You can also pick Dynamic Operations at Deploy and get an op before you infil. Either way, each op you finish pays DMZ XP and DMZ Cash and drops a Supply Drop, which gets better with each op you finish in the same deployment: Common, then Uncommon, then Rare.
Every MW4 DMZ Dynamic Op, step by step
Places, codes and sometimes a step change from match to match, so follow the op panel on your screen; these are the steps players see.
Broken Resupply
- Hack the comms server and defend it while it runs.
- Loot the marked item, a bomb.
- Find the keypad code in a safe; the objective then shows it.
- Open the keypad door and plant the bomb on the weapon of mass destruction behind it.
Keypad door: the code is in your objective and changes every match.
Ghost Shipment
- Kill the marked HVT and pick up the Classified Orders he guards.
- Capture the marked SAM Site and defend it.
- Wait for the SAM Site to shoot down the helicopter, then loot its cargo if your objective asks.
Chemical Denial
- Loot the marked item, from a car trunk in one run.
- Collect three chemical components.
- Craft the compound at a workbench.
- Deposit it in the metal case and get clear before the site blows.
Activision's first patch notes name it, at NuriGO Mall. See NuriGO Mall.
Toxic Intercept
- Loot the encrypted drive from a hidden cache.
- Decrypt it at the enemy computer and hold off the attack.
- Request a fuel resupply at a UAV Tower.
- Hijack the marked fuel truck and drive it to the marked spot.
Dead Man's Cache
- Get the intel to start it, from an encrypted drive or a hidden cache (the first step changes between runs).
- Download the location of the cache at a laptop.
- Pick up a bomb.
- Find the ammo and armor cache and blow it up.
- Kill the HVT in the area.
Signal Breaker
- Go to the target area.
- Collect three bomb parts.
- Craft the bomb at a workbench.
- Plant it on each of the three marked targets, radar trucks in one run.
Pays 10,000 DMZ Cash.
Special Delivery
- Collect three bomb parts and craft the bomb at a workbench.
- Complete the extra objective it gives you, capturing a UAV Tower in one run.
- Plant the bomb on the mobile missile launcher, defend it and take cover.
Domino Protocol
- Eliminate a marked HVT and pick up the intel he drops.
- Do the same with a second HVT.
- Follow the marker to a Lieutenant and take them down.
Sky Heist
- Get the intel: from a safe, a hidden cache or by restoring power (it changes between runs).
- Kill the helicopter pilot and loot the keys, or in another version hack the helicopter and defend the hack.
- Unlock the helicopter and fly it to the marked exfil before the timer runs out.
Hunt Operators
- Find the target Operator, a rival player, by following the op marker.
- Eliminate them.
Ignition Point
- Go to the target area.
Dynamic Ops with a keypad door
Viral Reckoning and Broken Resupply send you through a locked door with a keypad. Its code is not a fixed number to look up: it is in your objective ("Use Code #### to Unlock Keypad") and changes every match, which is why players online quote different codes. In Broken Resupply you find it in a safe first. Our Cheongun Outskirts access code guide walks through the door players search for most.
Ops that send you after a Lieutenant
Domino Protocol ends with a Lieutenant, and the Paid Intel Side Op starts when you buy one's intel on the Boss Board. Who each Lieutenant is, where the confirmed ones are and their keys are in our MW4 DMZ bosses list.
Side Ops
Smaller jobs you find on the map on any deployment. Each pays DMZ XP, resources or intel, and the Opulent Order asks for six in one deployment.
- Activate UAV Tower: Clear the guards and activate the tower at its console: it pays DMZ Cash and reveals nearby players and enemies.
- Capture a SAM Site: Hack the SAM control computer and defend it until the hack is done; then it shoots at enemy aircraft on its own.
- Download Intel To Locate Lieutenant: Climb a Lieutenant Hunt tower and use the laptop at the top to find the nearest Lieutenant.
- Secure Lost Supply Drop: Find a lost Supply Drop and secure it.
- Repair a Truck: Find the parts a broken-down radar truck is missing and repair it.
- Paid Intel: Starts when you have bought a Lieutenant's intel on the Boss Board: reach that Lieutenant and eliminate them. It showed +500 DMZ Cash for Bale.
- Crack Safe: Find the marked safe and open it.
- Clear the Military Compound: Clear the marked compound of enemies.
- Loot Radio Tower: Climb the marked radio tower and loot the container at the top.
Not confirmed yet
Treat these as leads until they are confirmed.
- Ghost Shipment: The Doctor, a Lieutenant, can turn up during this op, with a Side Op to kill him.
- Chemical Denial: There may be a second version: turn the power on, hack the comms server and protect the data transfer.
- Dead Man's Cache: A keypad door to the HVT's room on the way, with the code in the objective.
- Domino Protocol: The Lieutenant step can send you across the map, once to the 14th Political Prison and once to Bale at the Re-Education Center, with a Lieutenant Dog Tag at the end.
- Sky Heist: About 3:45 on the flight timer, and Disposable Parachutes inside the helicopter, so the squad can jump out and keep playing.
- Ignition Point: Some runs end as soon as you reach the area; others may go on with a bomb to plant on a weapon of mass destruction.
- What one run paid: One run of each op paid, in DMZ Cash and XP: Viral Reckoning 7,500 and 4,230; Ghost Shipment 7,500 and 5,032; Chemical Denial 5,000 and 3,000; Dead Man's Cache 9,900 and 5,146; Broken Resupply 5,000 and 2,993; Special Delivery 7,500 and 4,500; Domino Protocol 12,400 and 8,000; Ignition Point 5,000 and 3,000. Each finished step also paid about 250 XP or 300 DMZ Cash.
