DMZ X01 Map: Interactive Map of Both Floors
The game's own X01 Tac-Map, both floors, with the five bosses, every exfil, 7 keycard rooms and the 3D Printer marked. Zoom, search, put both floors side by side, and let Plan my X01 run order your stops.

How to use the X01 map
- Pick a floor. Floor 1, the Deep Vault floor, and Floor 2, the Cargo Bay floor, are the two that Switch Floor flips between on your Tac-Map. Both floors puts them side by side (one above the other on a phone). They move and zoom together, so you can see what is on the other floor at the same spot.
- Move and zoom. Drag to move. On a phone, pinch to zoom; on a computer, double-click, hold Ctrl and scroll, or press + and −. ⤢ shows the whole floor again and ⛶ opens the map full screen.
- Open a marker. Click or tap it to see what it is, its Tac-Map square and floor, what to do there and a link to our full guide.
- Search. Type a place, a boss or a square, such as Audit Room, Knuckle or E5, and the map jumps there and zooms in.
- Show or hide a layer. The buttons under the map turn each kind of marker on or off. The number on each is how many are on the floor shown, or on both floors when they are side by side. Stairs and arrival points start hidden.
- Send a spot. Opening a marker puts it in the address bar, and Copy a link to this spot copies it: the link opens the map on that floor with the same marker open.
- Plan my X01 run. Tick the keycards you carry and the Deep Vault, say where you arrived, and it puts your stops in order and ends at the nearest way out: plan yours.
What the map marks
Every marker, by floor. A place that shows on both floors, such as an exfil lift or a set of stairs, counts on each, and once under In all.

What is on each floor
The X01 Tac-Map shows one floor at a time, and the two shafts are on different floors: press Switch Floor to see the other one. Floor 1, the Deep Vault floor, holds the Deep Vault, Supply Depot, Pump Station, Tech Lab, Bio Lab, Medical Wing, Production Assembly and Data Center; Floor 2, the Cargo Bay floor, holds the Cargo Bay, Control Room, Admin Offices, Main Warehouse and Motor Pool. The Power Generators take up both, and 12 sets of stairs and rope ascenders link the two.

Bosses on the map
- The Captain: Around the Main Warehouse and the Logistics Tunnel. How to beat The Captain.
- Knuckle: The Data Center's dark server room: bring night vision. How to beat Knuckle.
- The Wrench: The Motor Pool, inside the parked tanks. How to beat The Wrench.
- Blix: Only the Deep Vault, and not every match. How to beat Blix.
- Wheelson: The Logistics Tunnel, which runs round the edges of X01; on the Tac-Map only once you are close. How to beat Wheelson.
Ways out of X01
- Emergency exfil shaft (Cargo Bay), E2 (Floor 2): Opens with a Staff Emergency Exfil Keycard: press Emergency Exfil - Unlock at the door and your squad exfils down the shaft at once.
- Emergency exfil shaft (Medical Wing), C4 (Floor 1): Two squares south of the Deep Vault, on the same floor: the quickest way out after a vault run, with a Staff Emergency Exfil Keycard.
- Exfil lift (Tech Lab), E4 (both floors): An exfil lift: call it, wait about 30 seconds, then stand in it for the 25-second countdown. Calling it draws nearby guards.
- Exfil lift (south of the Bio Lab), G5 (both floors): An exfil lift between the Production Assembly and the Data Center: call it, wait for it, then ride out on the 25-second countdown.
- Exfil lift (Motor Pool), F8 (both floors): The exfil lift at the south end, below the Motor Pool.
- Exfil lift (east side), I3 (Floor 1): An exfil lift on the east side, past the Power Generators.
- Power Generators emergency gate, H3 (Floor 1): Bring Wheelson's Remote Module from the Logistics Tunnel, shut down the console, turn off the power on the top floor, then turn the wheel to raise this gate on the bottom floor. It drops a second after you let go.
Every card and every step of the shafts is in our Staff Emergency Exfil Keycard guide, and what happens when the toxic gas runs out is in the X01 guide.
Arrival points (spawns)
You start X01 at one of 12 arrival points: 7 on Floor 1, the Deep Vault floor, at E2, D6, D5, C4, I4, H6 and H2, and 5 on Floor 2, the Cargo Bay floor, at E2, E5, H3, G6 and B5. Turn on Arrival points under the map to see them, and pick yours under Where you arrived in Plan my X01 run so the route starts from there.
Stairs and ascenders
9 sets of stairs link the two floors, at C4, C5, E5, F2, F4, F6, G4, G5 and G6. There are also 3 rope ascenders:
- C5: A rope ascender between the floors, by the Medical Wing shaft.
- G2: A rope ascender between the floors, by the Pump Station.
- H3: A rope ascender between the floors, at the Power Generators.
Keycard rooms
| Room | Square | How to get in |
|---|---|---|
| Deep Vault gate and Room 301 | C2, Floor 1 | Deep Vault 301 opens the vault gate without being used up, then Room 301 inside. The Core Room, with the free Argonaut Armor and the DRC Weapons Locker, opens through the vault's Side Op. |

Questions
How many floors does X01 have?
Two. The X01 Tac-Map shows one at a time, and Switch Floor changes it. Floor 1, the Deep Vault floor, has the Deep Vault, Supply Depot, Pump Station, Tech Lab, Bio Lab, Medical Wing, Production Assembly and Data Center. Floor 2, the Cargo Bay floor, has the Cargo Bay, Control Room, Admin Offices, Main Warehouse and Motor Pool. The Power Generators run through both.
Can I see both X01 floors at once?
Yes, on our map: press Both floors above it. The two Tac-Maps sit side by side, or one above the other on a phone, and they move and zoom together, so the same spot lines up on each and you can see what is on the other floor there. In the game, the Tac-Map shows one floor at a time and Switch Floor changes it.
Where do you spawn in X01?
At one of 12 arrival points: 7 on Floor 1, the Deep Vault floor, at E2, D6, D5, C4, I4, H6 and H2, and 5 on Floor 2, the Cargo Bay floor, at E2, E5, H3, G6 and B5. Turn on Arrival points under the map to see them, and pick yours in Plan my X01 run so the route starts there.
How do you get between the floors in X01?
By one of the 9 sets of stairs, at C4, C5, E5, F2, F4, F6, G4, G5 and G6, or one of the 3 rope ascenders, at C5, G2 and H3. Turn on Stairs and ascenders under the map to see them.
Where is the Deep Vault on the X01 map?
In the top-left corner, square C2 on Floor 1. Deep Vault 301, which The Captain drops, opens its gate without being used up. The emergency exfil shaft in the Medical Wing, two squares south at C4, is the nearest way out.
Where are the exfils in X01?
Exfil lifts at E4, G5, F8 and I3; emergency exfil shafts at E2 (Cargo Bay, Floor 2) and C4 (Medical Wing, Floor 1), which need a Staff Emergency Exfil Keycard; and the Power Generators gate at H3, which opens with Wheelson's Remote Module. Once the toxic gas runs out, the normal exits close and a Final Exfil comes up instead.
Where are the keycard rooms in X01?
Deep Vault gate and Room 301: C2, Floor 1. Executive Room: C5, Floor 2. Audit Room: G5, Floor 2. Maintenance Room: E5, Floor 1. Small Test Chamber: F4, Floor 1. Superintendent's Office: E4, Floor 2. Lt. Chol-Min's Stash Room: E7, Floor 2.
Where is the Motor Pool in X01?
At the south end of X01, square F7 on Floor 2. The Wrench hides in its parked tanks, an ammo and armor cache sits inside, and an exfil lift is just south of it at F8.
Where is the Data Center in X01?
On the east side, square H5 on Floor 1. Knuckle waits in its dark server room, so bring night vision, and the second Keycard Encoder Station is next to it at I5.
Where is the Logistics Tunnel in X01?
The Logistics Tunnel runs round the edges of X01's Deep Vault floor. Wheelson patrols it, and it leads into the Power Generators. Wheelson only shows on the Tac-Map once you are close.
Can the X01 map plan my run?
Yes. Tick the keycards in your backpack, choose whether to go for the Deep Vault, and say where you arrived if you know. "Plan my X01 run" adds the X01 Orders you have not ticked off on the Orders checklist, puts every stop in order and ends at the closest exfil lift, or at an emergency shaft if you hold a Staff Emergency Exfil Keycard. "Copy link for your squad" sends the same plan to your squad.
